Mary O’Donnell Quinn Library @ Pope John XXIII
Mission of Library Program
In support of the Pope John XXIII High School mission, the library program's mission is to assist students and faculty in a life of service to God, family, and community by providing access to ideas and information. The program aims to help each student excel and achieve maximum potential by creating a 21st Century learning environment, fostering a love of reading, and promoting the effective use of information and communications technology. Through collaboration, the librarian partners with the larger Pope John XXIII community to empower students to become life-long learners, responsible citizens, and industrious problem solvers.
Parents are encouraged to come and use the library materials and volunteer in the library if time permits.
Students and their parents can access the educational databases from home. These subscription databases contain a wealth of information and are the preferred online sources for coursework. Contact Mrs. Dronet for username and password details.
Donations to the library are always welcome.
Please visit the library’s website, www.popejohnlibrary.weebly.com for detailed information on library resources, activities, donations and requests.
