 Testing Information

The PSAT (pre-SAT) will be administered on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 to students in grades 10 and 11.  Mrs. Cox will be visiting all of the 10th and 11th grade classes during September to distribute and discuss the Official Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT.  This study guide includes a practice test, as well as other important information about the PSAT.  Parents can go to the website www.collegeboard.com for more information.

The PLAN (pre-ACT) will be administered on Monday, November 12, 2012 to students in grades 9 and 10.  Mrs. Cox will be distributing information about this test to students sometime in October. Parents can go to the website www.act.org for more information about the test.

AP (Advanced Placement) tests will be administered in the spring to students who are currently taking an AP class who wish to take the test.  AP Exam Schedule 2013: Monday, May 6th – Friday, May 17th

HOBY
The Hugh O’ Brien Leadership Award is an award given to one 10th grade student each year.    This is a highly respected leadership opportunity and is wonderful for developing leadership skills.  We will be presenting applications for this award to 10th graders during September  More information on this program can be found at www.hoby.org
